Do Now (6th and 7th Periods): Take a copy of the "Preparing to Research" handout at your table. Put your name and period at the top. Fill out the big question that you are trying to answer in your research and then write the types of information you will need to find in the left boxes and where you will find the information in the right boxes. You will have ten minutes to fill out at least the first two sections of the document. 

Do Now: Go to the “Do Now” section of your notebook and answer the following prompt in a paragraph (4-7 sentences). What new information have you learned about your topic? What do you still need to find out? What have you found out that you find most interesting?
