Do Now: Go to your Table of Contents and create an entry entitled "CER Post-Its #11" and write the page number. Go to the next available page and write "CER Post-Its #11." Below the heading write the title, "Seventh Grade", and the author, Gary Soto. Take out a post-it (or get one from me) and write a post-it about the main character, Victor. What is he like as a person? Remember that a claim is arguable. Don't forget to include evidence in the form of a quotation with citations, and reasoning.

STAR Test:

Student logins:  first initial+lastname (ex: adowling) with a # on the end if it's a common last name or if they have siblings with the same first initial.  (ex: jsmith4)  

 

After you log in, click the button that says "Take a reading test." You will be prompted to enter a "monitor password" before they are allowed to start; the password is "admin".  

The questions are TIMED, so you need to stay focused.  If you time out of a question because you were talking to a neighbor, your score will go down.
