Do Now: Create an entry for CER Post-Its #5 in your TOC and on a fresh page in your notebook. Take out a post-it (or get one from me) and write a CER (claim, evidence, reasoning) on one of the following questions about Chapter 19:

Write a CER about how Maverick and Carlos's relationship has changed and explain why.
OR
Write a CER about why Starr hated the courthouse for many years.

Write a CER about bravery and how Starr exhibits bravery.
