Do Now: If you haven't already done so, grab your notebook from the blue bin. Take a look at the rubric and check your score. Go to the "Table of Contents" and write "1st Quarter Notebook Check" and the page number. Then draw a line underneath it to show the start of a new quarter. Then, go to the next available page, fold your rubric in half and tape it in.

You have five minutes to work on the Venn Diagram. You need to write a list of things that happened in the book, but not the movie; things that happened in the movie, but not the book; and things that the two had in common. I will come around and initial that you have begun filling out your Venn Diagram silently.

Note: If you do not have a "Table of Contents", please start one. If you need a new notebook, see me.
